Say hello to Sage! She is a 1-year-old Pit Bull mix who was surrendered to the Animal Protection Center of Southeastern Mass in Brockton because her owner wasn’t allowed to keep her where he lived. That was the only home she ever knew since she was a puppy and you can see in her eyes she’s a bit shy. But our friends at the Animal Protection Center tell us once she comes out of her shell and trusts you, she is incredibly affectionate and sweet. She knows “sit”, “paw”, and “cookies.” She seems to like other dogs and would likely do well living with another dog, so if anyone with a dog is interested in adopting Sage you can set up a dog-meet with the APCSM and see how they do together!
