40 Acres Burned In Blue Hills Brush Fire

Crews were called to the scene of another brush fire in the Blue Hills.
Milton Fire Officials say the fire was reported around 1 p.m. Sunday and the blaze involved an area of more than 40 acres.
Over 50 firefighters were involved with Norfolk County Control saying that Dedham, Boston, Needham, Weymouth, and Sharon provided mutual aid.
Crews pulled out of the area around 8 p.m. due to darkness, with the fire mostly knocked down, but will be back on scene Monday to check for hot spots.
At this time there have been no reports of injuries or property damage.
The incident will be investigated by the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
