Four Contested Races Decided in Whitman Town Election

Four races were decided in the Whitman Town Election.

Justin Evans was re-elected to the Board of Selectmen with 695 votes. Shawn Kain was elected to the other seat with 695 votes.

Scott Benton had 564 votes. Rosemary Connolly had 350 votes.

Christine MacPherson was elected Assessor with 666 votes. Brittany Cavallo had 452 votes.

Beth Stafford was elected to the Whitman-Hanson Regional School Committee with 774 votes. Dawn Byers was re-elected with 743 votes.

Gregory Kelly had 389 votes. Charles Slavin had 238 votes.

For Board of Health, Jamie Rhynd won with 697 votes. Eric Twiss had 493 votes.

Voter turnout was 1,308 – or 11.78 percent.
