A 28-year-old man was transported to the hospital after an early-morning crash into a home in Marshfield.
Marshfield Fire Chief Jeff Simpson says they responded to 23 Pilgrim Trail around 12:31 on Monday morning.
He said there was no one in the home at the time of the crash.
“The building was under construction, but the driver was injured,” said Simpson. “He received minor injuries and was transported to South Shore Hospital.”
He says the crash is under investigation by the Marshfield Police Department.
“The damage to the house itself was very considerable,” said Simpson.
The town’s building inspector was called to that scene.
