Three Races, Ballot Question Decided In Plympton Election

Three competitive races and a ballot question were voted on during Plympton’s Annual Election on Saturday.

Unofficial results show Jared Adams Anderson beating Art Morin for a seat on the Board of Health with Anderson getting 188 votes and Morin getting 110 votes.

The race for Planning Board saw Paul D’Angelo as the top vote getter with 198 votes while Jackson Long got 78 votes.

Caitlin Johnson was the top vote getter in the race for Plympton School Committee with 27 votes, Suzanne Jafferian had 16 votes.

Voters said no to a ballot question that asked if the Town Clerk should be appointed with 219 votes, there were 101 yes votes.

There were no other contested races.
