When Whitman holds their Annual Town Meeting Monday night, one of the major articles up for debate will be Article P-5, which would immediately authorize over $1 million for architectural drawings for a new Department of Public Works building.
Town Administrator Lincoln Heineman tells WATD News this is the second time they have attempted to address this issue.
That is one of six articles that will go into effect immediately, including one dealing with Ballistic vests.
Heineman says there will also be articles dealing with marijuana establishments in town.
Whitman Annual Town Meeting begins at 7:30 tonight at the Town Hall Auditorium.
