Gracie is a sweet young cat who has a hard time finding a home. She was adopted as a young kitten but returned once she started showing aggression towards the other cat in the home. She found a home with a dog, but started being aggressive towards him.
Our friends at Scituate Animal Shelter (SAS) tell us, with humans, Gracie is a real character. She is sweet, fun loving and has a touch of sass! She going to be an excellent companion to someone looking for a cat with a great personality. She will need to be the only pet in the home.
At about 2-years-old, Gracie was found to have a high grade heart murmur. SAS did the medical work needed and happily, Gracie was able to be spayed (something that is not always possible with cats with heart murmurs). Unfortunately, with her heart murmur, Gracie has a shortened life expectancy. She will soon have an echocardiogram that will give us more information.
We are so hopeful to find Gracie a home that she can spend the remainder of her life. This lovely lady sure deserves it!
