An event will be held in Quincy on Sunday in honor of fallen police officers.
Sgt. Patrick Faherty, a Trustee with the Quincy Police Mutual Aid Association, tells WATD News that this is an observance that has been taking place for decades.
Faherty says that this year they want to bring attention to one of their long term goals.
Those interested in taking part in Sunday’s event are being asked to meet at Quincy District Court at 8:30 a.m. before a march begins to Mount Wollaston Cemetery with refreshments being served after the Quincy High School Cafeteria.
