The Massachusetts Department of Energy and Environmental Affairs says Massachusetts is in a “significant drought” status in the Northeast and Southeast regions of the Commonwealth.

WATD Chief Meteorologist Rob Gilman says this part of Massachusetts is in a unique situation – there is no wet or dry season, as he explains to Christine James.
