Crews were called to the scene at a building fire at a condominium complex on Chapel Hill Dr. in Plymouth.

The fire was reported shortly before 10 a.m. Tuesday and Plymouth Police say their officers arrived first and were able evacuate the 12 units through heavy smoke, and then evacuated 12 additional units in an adjoining building.

The fire was quickly knocked down and crews were able to keep it contained to only one unit.

No injuries were reported.
