Two gun seizures were made in Brockton.
Brockton Police say the first took place on Monday when detectives saw a man driving an Audi A4 recklessly in the city.
The man refused to stop and continued to speed and violate other traffic laws before patrol officers were able to assist in getting the car to stop.
The driver, 18-year-old Bernaldino Tavares, was arrested and charged with failing to stop for Police, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, driving without a license, operating an uninsured and unregistered vehicle, and unlawfully attaching plates to the car.
Officers found a .38 caliber revolver on the front passenger seat and arrested 18-year-old Paulo Ramos on charges of carrying a loaded firearm and the unlawful possession of ammunition.
Ramos does not have a license to carry.
The second incident took place last Wednesday when officers on patrol seized a 9-millimeter semi-automatic pistol with six rounds in the magazine.
The suspect, 27-year-old Anthony Blair of Hull, initially ran from Police, before detectives and patrol officers detained him with the handgun.
Blair faces several weapons charges, including carrying a loaded firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, and carrying a gun unlawfully.
