Milton Police are warning consumers that an illegal credit card skimming device was recently discovered at a local store.
The incident took place at the 7-Eleven store at 98 Houston Ave. and anyone who made a purchase at the store and used a credit/debit card on Saturday, July 23 between the hours of 9:30 a.m. – 8 p.m. is at risk.
The incident remains under investigation and any potential victims are being advised to change their PIN and/or account numbers.
Police also remind residents to regularly monitor their credit and debit card activity.
