Two people were rescued after a boat crashed near Green Harbor in Marshfield.
Marshfield Police Chief Phil Tavares tells WATD’s Christine James around 10:30 Tuesday morning, a 22-foot center console boat drove between two buoys marking Farnham Rock, and struck the rock.
Both the driver and passenger were ejected from the boat, the boat continued in tight circles at a high rate of speed. Police said Captain Dana Blackman of the vessel “Finest Kind,” saw two men in the water, and was able to rescue them.
The two men were not wearing life jackets.
Sea Tow used nylon lines to foul the propeller and stop the boat after about 90 minutes. A drone operator captured this video, which the Police Department sent to WATD:
