Paws & Claws! Every Tuesday at 9:22, we focus on the pet and animal world. Last week, the Massachusetts Senate passed three animal welfare related bills. The bills aim to prevent inhumane treatment of puppies and kittens, encourage adoption of research animals, and enforce hunting regulations for endangered and threatened species. Senator Patrick O’Connor is a proud co-sponsor of each of these pieces of legislation and he’s hopeful they will be signed into law this session. More details on the bills may be found at https://bit.ly/3ARmwo0. The Senator joins us now to discuss.
