A West Bridgewater man is facing charges after a hugging and kissing a female without her consent at an MBTA stop.

The MBTA Transit Police say that at approximately 12:20 p.m. Thursday they received a report of an assault at the Park St. Station.

The victim told police she was standing near the Green Line fare gates when a man, later identified as 33-year-old Emir Ikanovic, approached, wrapped his arms around her and kissed her on both cheeks.

He didn’t say anything to her and then boarded a trolley.

Transit Police say officers boarded the trolley and removed Ikanovic, who asked the officers what he did wrong.

It was then discovered that he had a warrant for his arrest out of Rhode Island for fraud.

Ikanovic was taken into custody on the warrant and now faces an additional charge of Assault & Battery.
