Those supporting a referendum to strike down a law that allows undocumented immigrants to obtain a driver’s license held an event Wednesday at Faneuil Hall in Boston.
State Representative Dave DeCoste laid out some reasons for the opposition to the law.
Signatures had to be submitted by 5 p.m. at Town Clerk’s Offices, but DeCoste tells WATD News that he’s confident that we will have the number of signatures required to get the initiative on the ballot.
If approved the referendum will be on the November 8 ballot.
