Edaville Railroad will keep chugging along.
The announcement was made Wednesday morning on the Edaville Family Theme Park Facebook page which named the new owners of the Carver business as Shervin B. Hawley, Managing Partner of Sudbury, Mass., and Brian Fanslau, Operations Partner of Alna, Maine.
They say they are “committed to the long-term success of Edaville as a traditional family park centered on its historic steam locomotives and family-oriented activities.”
The announcement also said that neither Thomas Land nor Dino Land will be open this year.
However, they say they will be hosting the “Christmas Festival of Lights” as the park observes its 75th anniversary.
A new website will be launched around Labor Day at which time tickets will be available for online purchase.
