Plympton Night Out will be taking place on Friday, with numerous events taking place at the Town Hall Complex.
This includes indoor movies at the fire station, demonstrations, and vehicles on display.
The event started as an idea from library director, Mike Slawson.
Police Chief Matthew Ahl says Plymouth County Sheriff Joe McDonald and District Attorney Tim Cruz are providing “tremendous support” for the event.
Fire Chief Steve Silva says events like this strengthen bonds in town departments as well.
It all takes place from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Friday at 5 Palmer Road in Plympton.
The Library is not available for parking, but can be used to drop-off passengers. People with limited mobility can be dropped off by the flagpole in the Town Hall parking lot.
Shuttle bus service is available from the Dennett Elementary School (80 Crescent Street) and Tractor Supply at 406 Main Street.
