Today is opening day for the 154th Marshfield Fair. There’s competitive exhibits, music, food trucks, and so much more.
Lauren Paine from Pine Meadow Farm in Mattapoisett says it’s an event they look forward to:
Although as cute as some of the animals may be, there are some trouble-makers. One of the goats was chewing on a fence, planning an escape.
This weekend will include a country theme – with music and special vendors.
There’s even a line of food trucks, just to the right of Gate A.
Lonnie Simmons, of Pembroke, has a truck called the Meat and Cheese Project.
The fair is open from noon to 10 p.m. every day, and runs until August 28th.
