SWAT Team Responds To Barricaded Suspect In Quincy

There is a barricaded suspect in Quincy.

Quincy Police say the situation was resolved peacefully, the person was transported to a local hospital for evaluation, after more than three hours on scene.

Quincy Police say members of the department’s SWAT Team and Crisis Negotiation Team are assisting the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section (VFAS) for a suspect who has barricaded himself inside a rental storage facility.
They say the suspect is in an interior room and there is no threat to the public.
However, they are asking people to avoid Washington St. until the situation has been resolved.
