Meet Yo-Yo and Sophie! Yo-Yo and Sophie have become friends while in their foster home and the team at Yorkie’s Inc. is hoping to find a loving home that will adopt them together.
Sophie is a beautiful female Yorkie who is 6 years old and weighs around 9 lbs. She has a beautiful dark coat and a full tail. Sophie needs a home with at least one other small confident dogs that she could play with and follow their lead: enter Yo-Yo! Sophie requires a fenced in yard as she loves being outside. She would do best in a quiet all female home with not many visitors as she barks at strangers until she is comfortable with them. Sophie can be shy and standoffish at times but does follow the lead of the other dogs in her foster home. She loves to engage with the other dogs and will follow their lead and join in being patted and loved when they are getting attention. Eventually she will seek out attention on her own and will want to be on the couch with you alone, but she needs the other dogs to know it is safe to do so. She also loves to cuddle in a dog bed with at least one other dog. It’s taken some time but she is starting to want some attention on her own. Sophie will need a patient home that will allow her to settle in at her own pace. She has made huge gains in her foster home with the help of the other dogs in the home and we expect the same to happen in her forever home.
Yo-Yo is 8 years old and weighs around 11 lbs. She is very sweet: her tail is always wagging and she loves to give kisses. Yo-Yo could loose some weight and we are hoping that walks and playing with Sophie will help. Yo-Yo loves to be in the yard roaming around with Sophie. She is the happiest dog who just loves life! Yo-Yo loves attention, but is quick to take the back seat for another dog so her new home will need to make sure they give Yo-Yo the extra love and attention she deserves.
