Beere & Cyder Fest at the Alden House in Duxbury.
Experience history in a new way as you explore how “beere” and cyder are made today and in the past with Barrel House Z Brewery on Saturday, September 24 from noon to 5 pm at the Alden House Historic Site.
Barrel House Z is a brewery and taproom in Weymouth with a focus on small-batch, barrel-aged beer. They will be offering samples in a range of styles in addition to a beer brewed from an original recipe in the Alden family collection.
This event also includes cider-pressing for kids, home brewing kits for sale, and tours of Alden House. Admission to the event is free; tours are $8 for adults and $5 for kids and students.
