A Dorchester man is in custody in connection with an armed robbery that ended in the death of a Quincy man.
Norfolk District Attorney Michael W. Morrissey says 28-year-old Dwayne D. Harper was arrested on a Quincy District Court warrant while leaving a Boston residence Monday morning.
The incident took place on August 18 when Quincy Police were called to the area of 5 Crown Drive at approximately 12:40 a.m. where they found 32-year-old Jordan Wiggins with obvious gunshot wounds.
Wiggins was transported to an area hospital but did not survive.
Harper entered a plea of not guilty to Masked Armed Robbery (firearm), Kidnapping for extortion; Attempt to commit a crime (to wit: Home invasion); and Assault to rob while armed with a firearm.
He was held without bail under the Massachusetts dangerousness statute with a dangerousness hearing set for September 20.
