The Mike “Slicky” Garner Memorial Motorcycle Run will be taking place in Whitman, organized by the Legacy 24 Foundation.
Mike Garner and Karen Fabrizio from the South Shore Resource and Advocacy Center joined WATD’s Christine James to discuss the event. Garner’s son was an avid motorcycle rider, who loved helping others.
They were able to raise $35,000 last year, with funds going to the Southeastern Mass Fallen riders, and awareness campaigns.
The event takes place at the Whitman VFW on Sunday, with registration taking place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
