Quincy Police say the stabbing occurred in the area of Glover Ave.
Glover Ave. and Pierce St. were closed as detectives investigated.
The victim sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
Police say there is no threat to students at Quincy Catholic Academy and that the administration has been made aware of the incident.
