The Registry of Motor Vehicles has announced the temporary closure of the Plymouth Service Center.
Officials say that the closure is the result of flooding that was caused by a water pipe that burst in the ceiling of the 40 Industrial Park Road location.
The closure is expected to last more than one week as repairs are made and damaged building materials are removed.
Anyone who made an appointment at the Plymouth RMV this week will have their appointment honored at the Taunton or South Yarmouth RMVs for the same date and time as their Plymouth appointment.
Staff from the Plymouth location are being relocated to customer service centers in Taunton and South Yarmouth.
However, Road Tests scheduled at the Plymouth Service Center location will continue to be conducted from that location.
Those who need to make an appointment can do so at the RMV’s website, in-person service can also be provided at certain AAA locations.
