The Plymouth RMV branch will be closed into next month.
The Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles announced that the Plymouth Service Center, located at 40 Industrial Park Rd., will continue to be temporarily closed through at least October 10.
Officials say the closure was put in place due to ongoing cleanup after a water pipe burst on September 11 resulting in a flood at the location.
Road tests are still being conducted at the Plymouth location but other customers with other transaction needs should go to the RMV’s website to see if the transaction can be done online or visit another service center or make an appointment to visit an AAA branch.
In the meantime staff from the Plymouth site have been temporarily reassigned to customer service centers at the Taunton Service Center at 1 Washington St. in Taunton and the South Yarmouth Service Center at 1084 MA-28 in South Yarmouth.
