Abington residents will have a chance to check in at an informational meeting this week, regarding what type of town government they want.
The meeting is scheduled for Thursday at 6 p.m. at Town Hall.
Rick Collins is the Chair of the Abington Charter Review Commission:
Collins says the results of recent survey indicated 33 percent of the respondents would be interested in a mayoral form of government in town.
Thursday’s Charter Review meeting will have Ted Langill as the featured speaker.
Collins said there will be a question-and-answer session after the forum. This will not be the only time that residents will be able to weigh in on the discussion.
