The opening week of the MIAA Football Playoffs is upon us, and the fields are loaded with South Shore teams.
In total, 26 area schools qualified for the postseason. Of those, 13 will host Round 1 matchups, and seven have clinched home field advantage through to the semifinals, when games will be played at neutral sites.
Milton (Div. 3), Duxbury (Div. 4), and Hull (Div. 8) all finished the season with unblemished records, and earned the top seed in their respective division.
