Pups will be on parade, as the Friends of the Marshfield Dog Park are hosting their annual Halloween costume contest fundraiser.
Erin Fitzpatrick is the Vice-President of the organization. It all kicks off Sunday from the Stellwagen Beer Company in Marshfield.
This event is open to anyone in the community, not just those with four-legged friends. They expect about 75 dogs.
There’s a suggested donation of $20 dollars, which can be made by cash, check, credit card, or on Venmo – at the Friends of the Marshfield Dog Park. It all benefits private maintenance of the park once it’s built.
The new location of the dog park on Rockwood Road was approved at the most recent town meeting.
The parade and costume contest takes place from 12 to 4 on Sunday at the Stellwagen Beer Company in Marshfield.
