During the fall season one local group is urging you to adopt a storm drain.
Lori Wolfe, of the North and South Rivers Watershed Association, tells WATD News that some simple steps will make a big difference.
Wolfe says that placing the leaves in your yard can actually help the local wildlife.
While also improving the overall health of your lawn.
Wolf says that clearing storm drain also provides another benefit during the winter months.
Those who take part in the program can also get something in return.
