A woman in her 60’s was kidnapped from the MBTA’s Wollaston Red Line station in Quincy, and was subjected to hours of sexual abuse.
The Boston Globe reports 26-year-old Christian Lynch, of Quincy, was arraigned on charges that included rape, kidnapping, and assault and battery on a person 60 or older.
He pleaded not guilty, and was held without bail.
At his arraignment, Norfolk County prosecutors told a judge the woman was walking to work, and was at the MBTA station around 7 a.m. Saturday when she was kidnapped off the street.
She was taken to a location described as “far away,” and was strangled and sexually assaulted for hours.
She was driven to the Westgate Mall in Brockton, where people nearby called police.
Prosecutors said Lynch allegedly tried to kidnap another woman from the same station earlier that day.
The next court date was set for November 23rd.
