As folks prepare to head home after Thanksgiving, they won’t likely be dealing with as many issues on the return trip.

AAA Spokesman Mark Schieldrop tells WATD News that this year the trip is likely to be more expensive.

Schieldrop says that the higher gas prices are likely to impact spending for things like gift giving over the holiday season.

Scheildrop says that travel numbers this year returned to pre-pandemic levels.
