Eleven people were arrested on charges of being involved in a major Brockton drug trafficking organization distributing fentanyl and crack cocaine throughout towns in Plymouth, Norfolk and Bristol Counties.
Attorney General Maura Healey announced that on Tuesday, authorities executed search warrants at six locations in Brockton, Stoughton, and Fall River.
During the execution of the search warrants, authorities recovered approximately 450 grams of fentanyl, 550 grams of cocaine, three handguns, three high-capacity magazines, ammunition, and approximately $26,000 in drug proceeds.
Healey said that the charges are the result of a long-term investigation by the New England Fentanyl Strike Force, which included Massachusetts State Police in partnership with Brockton Police, Weymouth Police, Stoughton Police, and Fall River Police, and the Massachusetts Department of Corrections, and the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department.
The arrested suspects 23-year-old Alexander Munoz-Gomez of Brockton; 20-year-old Bruno Pires, of Brockton; 23-year-old Djosue Dossantos of Fall River; 23-year-old Dylan Santos; 20-year-old Jiovoni Alves; 24-year-old Jonathan Pires of Stoughton; 25-year-old Kevin Tavares of Brockton; 19-year-old Melisa Pina of Brockton; 25-year-old Orlando Munoz-Gomez of Brockton; 20-year-old Raul Andrade of Brockton; and 19-year-old Victor Oliveira of Brockton.
