The Duxbury Fire Department and surrounding towns had to battle high winds and water during a three-alarm fire on Pine Point Place.
Fire Chief Rob Reardon says they responded around 11:46 this morning.
Crews were already nearby on Gurnet Road to rescue a woman who was trapped in her vehicle.
The garage was close to a home and other structures. It took about 45 minutes to extinguish the blaze. The garage and a vehicle were a total loss.
The fire went to a third alarm response, bringing in mutual aid from nearby towns.
There were no injuries reported.
