Say hello once again to the dynamic duo of Buttercup and Ziggy, two black beauties who were found outside. You may recall we featured this pair back in October and they are still looking for their forever home! Let’s see if together we can find them a home for the holidays.

Our friends at Standish Humane Society tell us these kitties are estimated to be a year old now.  Both are so friendly and loving you would never believe they were found outdoors alone. They have both been completely vetted and are ready for adoption. Their is something extra special about Buttercup: she is completely blind. She cannot see at all and yet is just the most loving and forgiving animal we have ever met. Her brother Ziggy protected her while outside and they were often seen with him in front and her following behind. He cries for her when separated and their is no doubt they will be adopted together – they are a bonded duo for life. Buttercup will need a home with one floor living or few carpeted stairs so she doesn’t get hurt. Blind cats do everything on routine and scent, so a home that has little to no chaos and a home that will keep furniture in its place so she can learn where everything is is quite important to her.
