An arrest has been made in connection with a deadly two-car crash in Milton.
The crash took place around 6 p.m. on the evening of March 8 in the 700 block of Blue Hill Ave.
State Police say one of the drivers, 56-year-old Michael McGrath of Milton, died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.
A juvenile in the car was transported to an area hospital.
The driver of the other car, identified as 40-year-old Manuel Afonseca of Boston, was transported to Boston Medical Center.
The Norfolk District Attorney’s Office says Afonseca was later arrested on charges of Motor vehicle homicide by negligent operation; Operating after suspension as a habitual traffic offender, Marked Lanes Violation, Speeding, and Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon.
He was arraigned Thursday in Quincy District Court, where he entered a plea of not guilty.
A cash bail of $25,000 was imposed for Afonseca and he will return to Quincy District Court on February 2.
