The town of Plymouth announced Jonathan Beder is resigning from his position as Director for the Department of Public Works.
He served in that role for 12 years.
“My time with the Town of Plymouth has been amazing, and I appreciate everyone’s support. I will take this tremendous wealth of knowledge forward as I take the next step in my career,” Beder said in a statement. “Plymouth will always be a special place for me, and I would like to thank everyone who I have met and worked with during this time.”
In November, Beder was a finalist for the Town Manager job in Stoughton, before the Select Board chose former Kingston Town Administrator, Tom Calter.
“I would like to thank Mr. Beder for his years of service to the town as Director of Public Works and on behalf of the Select Board, we all wish him well in his future endeavors,” said Town Manager Derek Brindisi.
