One person was hospitalized following an early morning fire in Quincy.
Fire officials tell WATD News that at around 1:45 a.m. Wednesday they received a report about a fire on Buckley St.
Crews arrived on scene where they saw heavy fire on the first floor.
The fire spread to the second floor and reached two alarms.
Officials say the nine occupants of the home were able to get out, but one was hospitalized with smoke inhalation and a dog and a cat were killed.
The home sustained extensive damage and is considered not habitable.
At this time no cause has been determined and is under investigation.
