Cohasset and State Police have been searching along Route 3A for any evidence in connection to the disappearance of 39-year-old Ana Walshe, a mother of three.
She was last seen at her home during the early morning hours of January 1st. It was reported she had to travel to Washington D.C. for a work emergency, and got into a rideshare vehicle.
Police Chief Bill Quigley said they confirmed with airlines that she did not board an airplane from Logan Airport this week.
A large-scale ground search took place near her home for any evidence on Friday and Saturday.
State Police said in a statement said more than 20 troopers from the Special Emergency Response Team, search and rescue personnel, the Air Wing, and three K9 teams searched the wooded areas near her home, with “negative results.” A pool and stream near the home were searched.
Police continue to investigate to determine Walshe’s whereabouts.
There were no injuries after a two-alarm fire at her former home on Jerusalem Road. It was sold “several months ago,” according to Quigley.
The State Police Fire and Explosives Investigative Unit and local investigators determined the cause of the fire was accidental.
