It’s a Plymouth Wednesday. We’ll start first at 7:41 with a check-in with our friend Amy Naples, Executive Director, from the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce. www.plymouthchamber.com
At 8:11 Steven Karidoyanes from the Plymouth Philharmonic joins us to talk about the Phil’s High School Music Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded to a high school junior living within Plymouth County who intends to apply in the fall of their senior year to a four-year music program majoring in music performance (instrumental or vocal), music education, or music composition. The scholarship is given in the junior year to enhance a student’s college application. The award of $2,500 may include reimbursements for additional music lessons, master classes or workshops, summer music camp, travel costs to the aforementioned, purchase of better instrument or related equipment, or other such expenses to assist will be considered. The deadline to apply is February 1, 2023. https://plymouthphil.org/scholarships
