Two Children Pronounced Dead, Infant and Mother Transported after Incident at Duxbury Home

Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz says two children were pronounced dead, an infant was medflighted to a Boston Hospital, and a mother was transported to the hospital.

Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz says just after 6 p.m., Duxbury Police received a 9-1-1 call from a male resident on Summer Street on Duxbury. 

 

They were identified as a five-year-old girl, a three-year-old boy. Cruz says they were pronounced dead at the hospital.

 

Mutual aid from surrounding towns responded to that scene.

Duxbury Police Chief Mike Carbone was asked about the personnel who responded.

 

WATD’s Ed Perry and Larry Nelson have been reporting from the scene, and spoke with Cruz.

 

The incident remains under investigation by State and Duxbury Police.
