Police Officers To Be Stationed At Cohasset Schools Following Hoax Calls

Cohasset Middle High School was one of the schools targeted during a series of hoax phone calls that was seen in school districts across the state.
Cohasset Police say that at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday the South Shore Regional Dispatch Center received a call from someone threatening the school campus.
Officers were immediately dispatched to all the schools and they confirmed the call was in fact not credible and a hoax.
Police say proper safety procedures were followed and there is no active credible threat.
It was also announced that police officers and school administration officials will remain on all Cohasset campuses until further notice.
The incident remains under investigation in collaboration with other area law enforcement officials.
