The Winning Score: Sports in Music concert with the Plymouth Philharmonic

It’s a Plymouth kind of day on the morning show.

Today at 7:41 Bob Nolet, Director of Operations for the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce checks in with an all-Plymouth update. www.plymouthchamber.com

At 8:11 Steven Karidoyanes from the Plymouth Philharmonic joins us to preview this Sunday’s concert: “THE WINNING SCORE: Sports in Music”. Wait—it’s a curveball! A music and sports mashup! You’ll be off to the races with Leroy Anderson’s Home Stretch and tuned into tennis where Coach Karidoyanes swaps his baton for a racquet to make the Match Point. Later you’ll hear NBC10 Boston sports anchor Trenni Casey read the epic poem “Casey at the Bat” and another winning score. Great music, a few giggles, and some Olympic gold goosebumps from John Williams’s famous fanfare—now that’s something Phil and music fans can really cheer about! www.plymouthphil.org

Leon Lopes and Doug MacLeod join us in studio at 8:41 to preview the 28th Annual Plymouth Rotary Auction. This year’s online bidding will take place from March 1st through March 19th. Visit https://www.plymouthrotaryauction.com for all the details.
