Say hello to Drogo, our pet of the week! Drogo comes by way of our new friends, Gals Best Pal, and we’re excited to introduce you to him. We’ll also be meeting Felicia from Gals Best Pal during our Paws and Claws feature on the morning show with Rob on Valentine’s Day – you don’t want to miss it!
The team at Gals Best Pal (GBP) tell us when they first met Drogo, their mouths dropped at his beauty (and also his size)!
The team was told that there’s a good chance this 80-pound (and growing!) tall boy has some Irish Wolfhound or German Shepherd in him. So he needs a home that is ok with having a dog the size of a mini pony!
In all seriousness though, this 1.5 year old is the silliest, goofiest guy and the Gals Best Pal team always gets a kick out of watching videos of him awkwardly running around and away from his foster momma.
Drogo is currently being fostered in Danvers, MA with two resident dogs and two cats. His foster mom has created such a great routine for him.

Drogo is extremely smart and picks up on training very quickly. It’s important for a dog of his size to continue practicing being a well trained canine citizen.
