Say hello to Allspice. Poor, sweet calico Allspice has been at the Scituate Animal Shelter for several months. Sadly, she was left outside the shelter in a carrier and had a wound on her neck. Because of these unfortunate circumstances, she was on a four month quarantine. She is now ready for a home of her very own! As a reminder the Scituate Animal Shelter does not charge when animals are surrendered to them, and they don’t judge, either. They want to work hard to find a good home for every pet and you do not need to add to the pet’s stress by abandoning them in the cold! You can email or give them a call for more details on surrendering a pet, if need be.
Back to Allspice! In her time at the shelter the entire team has fallen in love with her. She is sweet, gentle and enjoys human attention. Allspice is deaf and snores really loud, all adding to her quirk and charm! She loves to lay in her favorite box or on the back of a couch, her favorite spot of all.
Since we don’t know her history, we are not sure how she will be with other cats or dogs. Her laid back attitude makes us think she will likely fit into most homes though!
Allspice will be having a dental cleaning and an abscess removed on her neck.
This sweet older lady can’t wait to finally be free of the shelter!
