Eileen Ivers, Grammy-winning and Emmy-nominated violin player performs benefit concert for the Plymouth Phil!

Happy International Women’s Day!

We kick off our interviews this morning with a check-in with the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce’s Director of Operations, Bob Nolet. Bob, who is filling in this week for Amy Naples, will give us the rundown on upcoming events to support the Plymouth business community. www.plymouthchamber.com

This morning, Rob talks with Grammy-Awarded, Emmy-nominated, nine-time All-Ireland Fiddle Champion Eileen Ivers at 8;11. Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day, the former Riverdance star is coming to the South Shore to benefit the Plymouth Philharmonic. The Concert will take place at Memorial Hall in Plymouth on Saturday, March 11th at 7:00 p.m. While the Phil will NOT be performing, the organization benefits from 100% of the ticket sales. https://plymouthphil.org/plymouth-philharmonic-benefit-1

8:41 is when John Galluzzo from the South Shore YMCA joins us in-studio to talk about the Y’s “Member Giving Day.” The all-day event takes place today (March 8) to raise funds to give back to the community as financial assistance for membership, camperships and all of the Y’s programs and services. https://ssymca.org/events/dayofgiving

Today at 9:11 Rob talks with Cristina Spencer from We Care 365. We Care 365 is a community-based program that offers personalized support for those caring for a loved one at home.
