The library will be closed all day on Friday, March 24th for repairs to solve the roof leaking.
“The repairs involve installing custom metal flashing the entire length of the building. It’s a significant repair that will remove the existing failed metal flashing, replace the wet insulation with new tapered insulation, and roll the membrane over the edge and then the new custom metal flashing gets installed on that leading edge a metal surface over the existing wall. This installation needs to be done where the main electric line comes into the library so the electricity needs to be shut off for the whole day.
