Brush Fires Seen Across The South Shore

Crews across the South Shore were busy dealing with brush fires on Thursday.
Officials in Abington say they responded to a fire near the train station that was knocked down.
Crews in Duxbury says responded to a fire on Woodridge Rd.
Fire officials in West Bridgewater say they were notified by the Kingston Fire tower of heavy smoke in the area of South St.
Upon arrival firefighters found an extensive woods fire with poor access in the area between South and Forest St’s.
Mutual aid from 5 different communities responded to with Plymouth County Control saying that crews from Raynham, Middleborough, and Halifax were among those that assisted at the scene.
At this time there is no official word regarding any potential damage or injuries.
