Pedestrian Struck By Commuter Rail Train In Brockton

One person was hospitalized after being struck by a Commuter Rail train Friday morning.
Brockton Fire officials tell WATD News that shortly after 7 a.m. they received the report about the pedestrian being struck at Campello station.
The victim, identified as a 40-year-old individual, was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital with what are described as life threatening injuries.
Their current condition is unknown.
The MBTA reported delays on the Middleborough Line but says an extra train was brought on to accommodate passengers impacted by the incident.
